KVS Admissions 2025-26 : Admission notice out; applications for Class 1 begin today

Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission 2025-26: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has today released the admission notification for the academic year 2025-26. Parents who want to apply for admission of their wards can visit the official website and apply at kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in.

Candidates must note that the Sangathan application should not be considered as submitted and the application data will not be visible to the until they receive an application submission code from the online admission portal. Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission 2025-26: Documents

 A valid mobile number with Indian SIM card

A valid email address

 A digital photograph or scanned photograph of the child seeking admission to KVS (JPEG file of size at most 256KB)

A scan copy of the child’s birth certificate along with address proof and caste certificate (JPEG or PDF file of size),

Details of government certificate in case you are applying under economically weak section,

 Transfer details of parent/grandparent whose service credentials will be used in the application

The admission application for KVS form is divided into five sections, each organised and presented under a separate tab. The following are the different section/tab headings: basic information, parents’ details, choice of schools, upload documents, declaration and submit.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission 2025-26: Age

According to the official notice, the minimum age for admission to Class 1 will be 6 years. The age for all classes will be assessed as of March 31, 2025. Seat reservations will follow the KVS Admission Guidelines for the 2025-26 academic year. The age requirements for Balvatika 1, 2, and 3 will be 3 to 4 years, 4 to 5 years, and 5 to 6 years, respectively, as of March 31, 2025.
