UPSC CSE 2025 : Commission releases list of rejected applications at upsc.gov.in

The Commission has released a list of rejected candidates due to the non-receipt of the application fee of Rs 100 from the bank. 

UPSC CSE 2025 : The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the list of rejected applicants at its official website. Aspirants who have registered for the UPSC Civil Services prelims can check the list uploaded on the official website of the Commission– upsc.gov.in.

The Commission has released a list of rejected candidates due to the non-receipt of the application fee of Rs 100 from the bank. A total of 43 candidates have had their applications rejected for this reason.

According to the official notice, candidates may appeal their rejection within 10 days. Appeals must be submitted along with the necessary documentation, which includes a hard copy of either the system-generated challan or a copy of the debit/credit card statement or bank account statement, as applicable.

These documents should be sent by speed post or delivered by hand to the Under Secretary of the UPSC in the examination hall 2 at the fourth floor. The appeal against rejections must be received by March 17, 2025. If valid documentary evidence is not submitted by this deadline, the application will not be considered for revival.

The UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2025 is scheduled to take place on May 25, 2025. The exam will consist of two objective-type papers (multiple-choice questions) with a total of 400 marks across various subjects. This examination serves solely as a screening test, and the marks obtained by candidates who qualify for the Civil Services Main Examination will not be considered in determining their final ranking.

This year, the commission aims to fill approximately 979 vacancies across various services through the Civil Services Examination. Candidates can visit the official UPSC website for further details.

Meanwhile, in an another development for the government job, the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) released the UPPSC PCS 2024 prelims result. The Commission made the UPPSC PCS 2024 prelims result link available at uppsc.up.nic.in.

The Commission had earlier released the answer keys on December 25 and candidates were able to raise objections against the answer key by December 31, 2024. Based on the objections received on the UPPSC PCS provisional answer key, the Commission prepared the and announced the UPPSC prelims result 2024.

The UPPSC PCS prelims exam was held on December 22, 2024. The UPPSC prelims exam was conducted in two shifts — first from 9.30 am to 11.30 am and second between 2.30 pm and 4.30 pm at 75 districts of the state.

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission exam is a state-level examination to select applicants for various positions within the state government of Uttar Pradesh. The examination is divided into three parts — the preliminary exam, the mains exam, and the interview.
