GATE 2025 : List of PSUs that will accept scores

GATE 2025 : The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (IIT-R) will release the results for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering on March 19. Once released, students will need to consider where the scores can be utilised.

Direct recruitment to Group-A level posts in the central government, including senior field officer (tele), senior research officer (crypto) and senior research officer (S&T) in the cabinet secretariat are also done based on a valid GATE score.

GATE score can also be shared with institutions supported by the Ministry of Education, Public Sector Undertakings, and other eminent institutions for the purpose of admission and recruitment. Moreover, this year, the Biological Sciences and Bioengineering Department at IIT Kanpur will admit MTech students through the GATE 2025 examination.

Not only admission to top Indian institutes but a GATE score can also be used to get financial assistance for:

If a candidate wants to pursue a master’s programme or wants to take admission through a direct process in the doctoral programmes in engineering, technology, architecture, science, commerce, arts, and humanities.

For doctoral programmes, only selected subjects are available as mentioned above, however, the institution a candidate will choose for the programme must be supported by the Ministry of Education or any other government agencies.

Additionally, for master courses, MTech students will get financial assistance of Rs 12,400 per month which is generally paid up for 22 months. In the case of doctoral programmes, the assistance of Rs 37,000 will be given for two years and Rs 42,000 per month from the third to the fifth year.
