GATE Result 2025: When and where can I download results from gate2025.iitr.ac.in
The GATE 2025 scores will remain valid for three years from the date the results are announced.
GATE 2025 Result Date, Time, Direct Link: The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT-R) will release the results for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) on March 19. Candidates who took the exam can check and download their results by visiting the official website at gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
To access their results, candidates should visit the GOAPS portal or the official GATE website and enter their enrollment ID and password. The GATE 2025 scores will remain valid for three years from the date the results are announced.

Students will be able to check the results on March 19. They will have to visit the GOAPS portal website — gate2025.iitr.ac.in. Then log in using the required credentials, such as enrollment ID or email address and password. Followed by clicking on the ‘GATE 2025 result’ tab. The GATE result will appear on the screen. They will have to download and save the result for future reference.
GATE Results 2025: What to do in case a candidate forgets its login credentials?
If the candidates forget the login credentials to download the GATE 2025 result, the official website — gate2025.iitr.ac.in has a tab to retrieve the forgotten credentials. Candidates will have to log in with their email IDs and retrieve the registration ID.
The qualifying GATE cutoff for 2025 will be provided along with the candidate’s details and the marks obtained. The scorecard will include the marks earned by the candidate in each section of the exam, the overall score, and the All India Rank (AIR). Applicants should note that the scorecard will only be released for those who meet or exceed the cutoff score.
The GATE cut-offs will depend on multiple factors. The number of total candidates appearing for GATE, availability of seats at the participating institutions, previous year’s trends and the difficulty level of the exam play an important role in deciding the cut-off.

GATE Results: Where can scores be used?
GATE scores are used for admission to master’s programmes, doctoral programmes and direct doctoral programmes in engineering, technology, architecture, science and humanities, with scholarships and some colleges and institutions also use GATE scores for admission to postgraduate programmes without scholarships.
