Want to study in South Korea? South Korea's Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) has announced the Seoul Tech Scholarship 2025. This internship offers Indian students the opportunity to pursue a masters' degree from leading universities in Seoul, South Korea, with a 100% fee waiver.

Students from science and engineering backgrounds can apply for this internship to get into top Korean universities. Interested candidates can apply for the internship by March 14, 2025.

KOREAN SCHOLARSHIP: ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Nationality: Must be a citizen of India
• Age: Candidates born after 1985 can apply for this internship.
• Education: The candidate should be a graduate and/or about to graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Science and Engineering from one of the top 100 Indian universities as per the latest NIRF rankings.
• Academic performance: Minimum of 80% marks or top 20% of the class, CGPA is required as per GKS criteria.
• Language: All courses are conducted in English.

BENEFITS OF THE INTERNSHIP:

• Full tuition fees coverage (50% SMG, 50%by the university)
• One-time economy class flight ticket to Korea.
• KRW 1,000,000 per month (around Rs 60,000) living allowance.
• Coverage of actual health insurance premiums for the previous month.
• Assistance with employment or entrepreneurial activities in Korea after completion of the graduate programme.

HOW TO APPLY FOR SEOUL TECH SCHOLARSHIP:

The original signed application and other required documents, apostilled in India, must be sent to the Embassy of India, Seoul via post/courier.

The processing time is about 2 weeks, so interested candidates should submit the documents in advance.
